ABOUT US
The Company EKOAKTA was founded in July 2001 and registered at the District Court in Katowice. The present Company's base capital amount to 2 000 000 PLN (Polish zloty) and it ist an entire private capital of Polish orgin. The Board of Directors consists of Chairman.
The basic Company's activity is to provide a professional service of destroying information carriers, and in particular paper documents, including huge quantities of documents arising from of liquidation of archives, magnetic and optical carriers. A unique system of supervising and monitoring of consignments has been introduced into management of destroying process. We apply all necesssary organizational solutions enabling to fulfill the requirements regarding secret protection according to NATO standards. The system of quality assurance conforming to PN-EN ISO 9001-2001 has been implemented and certified in order to meet the customers' requirements and to guarantee the highest quality of the services rendered by our Company.
EKOAKTA has a convenient location in the very center of the Silesian agglomeration, in Chorzow Batory, between the main transport routes i.e. between the Crossregion Road Route (Drogowa Trasa Srednicowa) and the international motorway A4. Such location allows the head office to cover directly by its activity the whole region from Krakow to Opole on the east-west line and from Czestochowa to Bielsko-Biala on north-south line, while maintaining optimum unit costs of the provided service.
The additional advantage of the Company is the fact, that it is seated in the very heart of traditional Silesia, in areas associated usually only with steel plants and coal mines. The ground purchased by the Company had been owned previously by Chemical Works "Hajduki" and it required considerable expenditures connected with it reclamation. These activities met with a favourable attitude of the authorities of the local administration. At the moment the Company applies for long-term immovable property tax allowances.
